cilindros hidráulicos telescópicos

Have you seen a construction truck that seems to have a long metal arm? This arm can (tend to) reach all the way up to the sky and carry heavy items such as big/huge blocks and metal beams. That long arm is a boom, and it is maneuvered by a special instrument called a telescopic hydraulic cylinder. These cylinders are crucial for a lot of machines, and they help them work so effectively.

A telescopic hydraulic cylinder is a unique tool which consists of several smaller cylinders inside a single, large cylinder. It’s sort of like a telescope that you can pull out and then push in. When you take the telescope out, it expands, and when you push it back, it retracts. The same principle also applies to telescopic hydraulic cylinders. Creating a force of distance that when possible it creates long distance pulls. These cylinders can be found in virtually any type of machine, from cranes to dump trucks and even certain types of lifts.

Operating Principles of Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders

Well, telescopic hydraulic cylinders operating with hydraulic power. Such power is generated by fluids, like oil, that are exerting pressure on objects. To visualize this, think of a full water bottle getting squeezed. If you squeeze it, you can feel the pressure. That pressure is hydraulic power — the stuff moving the cylinders.

The liquid is kept in smaller cylinders placed inside a telescopic hydraulic cylinder. As the fluid is forced into the smaller cylinders it causes the larger cylinder to move out in a telescoping fashion. Enables the boom or arm to reach higher or farther. The larger cylinder withdraws when liquid is pushed back in the larger cylinder. It is this motion back and forth that is needed for the machines to work right.
